My Calories Seem High. Do I Have to Eat All This Food?

It is VERY common to be surprised at the amount of food we suggest for you to reach your goals! Most people have the common (and 'old school') misconception that you need to severely restrict calories to reach your goals – this is not the case at all!

While severe calorie restriction works for quick results, it also leads to muscle loss, metabolic slow down, and severe cravings.  Most of us can weather this torture for a short amount of time, but it is not sustainable in the long run.

Our approach is part of the new wave of sustainable weight loss, and is extremely powerful – both physically and mentally. We start you at the highest calorie intake possible to boost your metabolism and prime your body. Most people are blown away when they realize that they can eat 2000-2500 calories a day and not gain a pound! In fact, a lot of people actually lose weight during this time.

Here is where it gets cool: If your body plateaus, the program will adjust your portions in a 'step-down' manner, to find your weight loss 'sweet spot' where you lose the fastest. Every time you plateau we will step you down again. Eventually, we may step you down to 1500-1250 calories - but only if we need to! In the meantime, we have stepped your body down gently, causing minimal physiological stress and allowing you to eat a plethora of foods – never feeling deprived!

This is transformation the way it SHOULD be done! Your meal plan is totally customized to you and your goals, and every time you do a weekly Progress Check, our 'smart logic' determines if you need to step down to the next level.

When beginning the program, it is important to eat somewhat aggressively, since it may be difficult to get all of the food in.

It takes about 3 to 5 days for your body to adjust to the volume of your meals and eating every 3 hours. That’s when your ‘metabolic clock’ will be set. You will know it because you will finally find yourself hungry every three hours. Now, you can feel confident that if you eat all of that delicious food, you will achieve your goals!
